Amity values the universe inside each individual as well as our vital human interconnectedness. Providing compassionate and affirming care, while moving clients toward how they'd like to be living, is her goal in her work.
Amity sees individuals, couples, families and groups throughout the lifespan. She uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in her personal and professional life, which is an evidence-based approach that guides clients toward greater psychological flexibility. She aims to bring a mindfulness-informed lens to everything she does.
Originally from small-town Arizona, Amity and her husband have established themselves in Virginia as a new chapter to life after becoming empty-nesters. She loves photography, jogging, and writing. You may happen to bump into her in the thrift store or library, two of her favorite places.
